Having had one 'if you had posted this last week we could have done a deal', I thought I would try here as well to see if any of you good people are in need of an exceptional everday car or have any pearls of wisdom to hasten my journey to paradise.....sorry, Trev collection day.

Apart from the one stone chip expected on any car to have left the forecourt it is absolutely mint. I am convinced the first to see it will buy but those that call can never be arsed to view.

Any suggestions for selling virtually new car without getting bent over for Ford main dealer trade in would be much appreciated.

You can advertise it for free on Pistonheads!

Advertising on the forums is not allowable though...

Well done on your TVR purchase!

There may be a way to get 'some' money quickly from your Focus, but sadly, depreciation will really hurt from the sale (I know, I've been there!)
You could go into any dealer, say you want a little runaround car and how much would they give you for the part ex. We did this with our MGZR160 when we part exed it for a Clio (needed a cheap workhorse car), and the renault dealer gave us an excellent part ex deal, in which we had a nice big cheque within days!
You could do this, and then sell the cheaper car (albeit at a lower price I suspect), but it is easier selling cheaper cars, but VERY hard trying to sell nearly new, I have been there, very frustrating!
