seems people want lots of apathy in CF, or funnily enough stuff that's already available in CF! .. lol .. I can get anything made in CF by the guys down the estate and guess what .. the number of items I've sold you can count on the fingers of one hand .. it won't make you a millionaire, but if you're just wanting to play around as a hobby just to get your stuff out there then go for it
Tim at ACT and Allan Thompson (carbon Al) have got chime / griff and Cerbera markets sewn up now I think, and Leven are doing CF for some stuff soon. You can already get CF dashes from london carriage craft, and heat reflective stuff works better for heat shields ..
I'm working on diffusers for the S and Tuscans, but there must be something else to try?

Diffusers for the S would be cool. I think to create a mould for CF roof ranels for an S willcost rather a lot, around £1K+ just to get it started, never theless I'm sure there would be quite a few people interested. As with a lot of ventures, people say they will be interested, but you have too see if they'll put up the money.

Leven are working on a two-piece roof for Griffs/Chims, I know because the first prototype panel has been on our Griff, at Pistonfest, and everybody that saw it wants one.
I believe Simon wants to try to get them in production for Christmas.

The Trouble with CF is that there are two ways to do it..
1) Properly so its strong and light using all the correct materials and autoclaving it.
2)quick and cheap cf covered grp using normal resins that looks just the same and costs 1/4 of the price.
(i.e the roof panel on a chimaera/griff - you take the cloth off and look whats underneath.. its aint cf)
if you produce the proper stuf its too expensive compaired to the other stuff so peeps will not buy it..

as a consumer and not a fiddler or technical person, but a Carbon Fibre lover, I'll tell you this-
if a part is available, looks good and fits the general look I want, I will buy it.
Unfortunately getting some things fixed on the car come first. But you can bet I'll be elbowing people aside to get at the roof panels, twin or triple plenums, dash bits when the time comes.
It's been driving me insane trying to get someone in Australia to do the dash, you can bet I would have preferred to just pay someone for a pre-built one!

Considering the prices that people are willing to pay for 'dress up' items I think there is a good market for purely cosmetic stuff and other bits that require the minimum of real enginering e.g not plenum chambers.
I seem to remember a bloke on the Cerb forum is already offering Cerb-only stuff right now e.g headlight surrounds.
Great as TVR's are as standard, people will always want to stamp their own mark to make theirs more personal.

I’d like a nice square tray (sort of half a box – or just without a lid), about 5 X 5 x 1½ (5 inches by 5 inches and say an 1½ inches tall). Just something small I can put on my desk to put money, keys, stuff into etc… Something really nicely finished off. No-idea how much CF costs, but I’d pay £20/£25 for it…!??
