You mean a Chimaera? Induction makes little difference on the standard engine, and the "power valve" is bollocks.

Power gains with reliability - Yes, go see Mark Adams and get the engine set up correctly!

you mean can you get 400bhp and still stop water leaks into the fusebox, stop immobilisers going faulty, stop dampers breaking, stop central locking locking you in / out... etc etc... hmm seems doubtful to me.

Try bigger throttle body, V12 air flow meter, Mark Adams rechip, 218 hybrid cam change and you'll get another 20-30 bhp for about £3500-4000. It's reliable from an engine point of view but better brakes are strongly advised.

There are no enegine mods that you can do on the cheap.

Plus it's worth remebering that any increases in power, and/or more vigorous use of the car, should be matched with closer attention to servicing, particularly oil changes.

me thinks that tvr would have already done it on the cars before they sell them if their is an easy and cheap way to get more performance without effecting the reliability
sorry to sound negative

Someone tell me what this is - sounds like one of those bits 17y-olds fit to Renault 5 Turbos.

Basically allows more fuel to flow into the injectors and thus enrichen the mixture when the car is accelerating. The Griffi/Chimpaera replicate the same effcet by the ECU lengthening the injection pulses when the throttle is buried into the floor.
