Can anyone remind me what the preferred option is for this?

The Renovo product line. Then whack a coat or two of Fabsil over it as well as a waterproofing agent.

Agree, great stuff.

But.....I have always assumed the Renovo waterproofed it anyway. Fabsil it in 9/12-months??

No. Renovo Soft Top Reviver only "re-colours and reconditions" the material. They also make Ultra Proofer to waterproof it after re-colouring, but I always use Fabsil.

Yes, I use both these and they seem to work well.

Make sure you coat in one go as if it dries, there may well be a line you can see (e.g. if we ever get another hot day, wait till the day after!).
