Who cares about the slogan ?
Discussion
I do not understand the uproar over the new TVR slogan.
Who do you even think is going to know about it, with the exception of people in the know, that is unless TVR intend to have to sprayed across all new cars.
Most people don't even know what the cars are, never mind the manufacturers 'strap-line'.
Don't get me wrong, it is complete rubbish, but I'll be damned if I would trade my car in for a 911, Boxster, S200, M3, Elise, for this reason alone.
The problem I have with regards to the takeover is the new model theory, i.e, 500 then ditched. At present I have been waiting a month for a new bonnet which I think is a disgrace (and still have not got an date when to expect it), and expect this to get worse under the new rules.

My silly little plastic coated go-kart still goes just the same. I have jibes regarding TVR reliability on a regular basis, so if anyone takes the pee about this ‘orgasmic’ nonsense, I just don’t care. However, should this lead to a mass exodus complete with plummeting prices, I will have to extend the parking area on my driveway for my (hopefully) expanding TVR collection.
My only issue would be if they print it on anything, I wouldn't want it across the bottom of my numberplate, the top of my taxdisc holder, on a sticker in the rear window, and if they keep sticking it on the demo/press cars the press are going to take the pi$$, then the general car press reading public will take the pi$$
These days offical merchandising can raise a fair bit of cash, I've got a TVR Jacket with 'The sprit of driving' slogan on it, I wouldn't want to walk round Donington/in the pub with 'Orgasm' writen on my back

I agree with you that I also would not want this writing all over the car, but all these things you mention are removable/replaceable or you can even ask to be supplied without (in the case of number plates).
My point is though, that, all this is hardly a reason to not buy a TVR, and those that say it is are obviously a bit

Check out the poll that Ted's running. I would question that proportion of people are a bit silly. Unlike the slogan.
