So I have a set of Cerbera seats, as fitted to the later Chims, being upholstered as we speak to match the original leather (magnolia) to go in my Chim.
I am selling the existing seats.
Simon at Fernies thinks a new owner will want the original seats.
What say the PH masses?
Id say they know their market.I am selling the existing seats.

For originality it's likely that non standard seats or other major changes will effect future values, so if the car is a keeper to hand on to your children I'd do as Baretti has and stick them in the attic.
That said at the present time I doubt it would have any significant impact on resale if you sell in the next few years.

Stick with the Cerb seats. They look better, perform better, thats why they ended up putting them in later models. Prob find that it will add value.
Plus 1 - If I were looking for a Chim I'd see it as a welcome bonus! Cerb seats are a desirable mod and as said above actually used in the late model Chims anyway so it is kind of original.
