Battery Conditioner

Hi all,

I was wondering where is the best place to get a battery conditioner for the wedge.

Anyone have a prefered seller and type of the condtioner.

This will run and run.

I've used a Halfords own brand one on the Chimaera for the last 7 years and on the Cerbera for the last 3 years - work perfectly.
I think they are about £25.

Others will come along in a bit to tell you that you need to pay probably double for an Accumate or Ctek one.

I've got an AccuMate now, which I'm very happy with.

I had one from a well known car accessory chain previously, which caught fire on the plenum of my S3. Won't be getting one of those again.

+1 for the Halfrauds item,used for last 5 yrs,so if it broke now ,lost nothing.

I have an Accumate and a Ctek. No idea on difference between them, go for whatever is cheapest!

The Aldi and Lidl battery chargers that come up once in a while as specials for about £12 have all the bells and whistles of a full battery conditioner / charger, as they cycle the battery- not just simply charge it.

Had a bit shop around on the net and managed to get an Accumate for £34, so not much more expensive than the Halfords one.
