I'm guessing not everyone here hangs out in the Tuscan Challenge group, and anyway this one's a road car wink

Just got it fired back up and running under its own power with the new motor.

Some techie stuff on the Tuscan Challenge group, but for now...it's making a wee bit more power than before, and should be just a wee bit lighter than before. It'll take a while to get the inevitable gremlins sorted out, but at least it's running under its own power again smile

I'm pushing on to get it on track for the SuperLap event on 25th/26th. I think the only track session before that is the Dreadnought one on the 16th, but I will probably be out the country then and will miss it frown Assuming it runs OK on the road (and there's no guarantee of that yet!) then I think it will be christening by fire at SuperLap. But once I've got it shaken down it'll be out lots.

Nope - I've had it since 2004, with the first 3 years being the rebuild with the Small Block Chevrolet, and as a road legal 2-seater. I managed to road-register it in 2007 (I believe the only TVR to be registered new in 2007?) and been doing the rounds with it ever since...but with a series of engine problems over the years with the SBC. But against that it does do a huge number of track miles (track days) mainly at Knockhill.

When I finished the build in 2007 it was pristine; it's getting a bit chipped and 'used' now but I guess that's inevitable as it does get used. But it still has the best panel fit and tightest panel gaps of any Tuscan out there wink

Willie,

Glad to see you have got it running again. Hopefully the LS7 will give you fewer problems than the earlier engine. Look forward to seeing it sometime.
