Can't go wrong with Autoglym Super Resin Polish (SRP) for minor all in one correction/protection.
If you want to detail your car ie. polish (correct) and wax (protect) separately then that's a completely different matter.

Polished bliss is another good site. They have all the info you could possibly ever need about products and their usage.
Best to try different products and see which you like best but be careful that the cleaners you do choose don't eat into the sealants and waxes you have been building up layer by layer on the paint work.
And DO NOT use ACIDIC based cleaners on your wheels. You will slowly be killing the poor things.
