I am going to France in my Tuscan in two weeks. Does any one know how to convert the small Hella headlight so not to blind oncoming vehicles. Is it just a matter of triming down a conversion kit and sticking it on the light

Yes, this method worked OK for me ... cut a wedge shaped piece of tape, parked the car in front of a wall and experimented to find the correct placing.

BTW, don't forget the AA 5* (standard TVR AA recovery does not include European cover), and we also took a few bits and pieces (throttle cable, jump lead connectors etc) as I would have hated to come back on a trailer for want of something silly ! Of course none of this was needed and the car ran perfectly.

Reaction to the car in France was great - very good for the ego !

Have a good trip

Check, this www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=8&t=12839

Personally, I wouldn't bother. Has Steve said there may be a fine, but then I am yet to meet a single person who has been bothered by the French plods because of this - anyone here?
