Remember someone asking if th TVR watch had a date function - it doesnt, but has a good seconda movement. I just got one, its very nice indeed (worth getting for the money if you were thinking of getting one imho) and was wondering how many other people had bought one.

Do you have any more info/a website on this watch? How much does it cost?

It's a Rolex Daytona copy but as it was from TVR Personal Possessions your chances of getting one now are slim

Hold my hands up it was me, long thread.

Can I ask when you ordered yours (PM me if you want), I have just cancelled my order (placed 10th September) lots of promises and no delivery not impressed at all. they are firmly putting the blame at Sekonda's door, true or not, the fact that they never contact you to let you know their is a problem peed me off no end. Its not the first time i've had problems ordering from that site so will not be going back ever again.

I remember you PMed my end of August as it was your B'day close to that time aswell!

£95 for a sekonda

think I'll pass. They could paint TVR onto an empty packet of jaffa cakes and people would still buy it for considerable cash.

What a quality idea! What you would then do is take the contents of a new packet of Jaffa Cakes and put them in the TVR box, how cool would that be.

TVR Jaffa Cakes, how easy is that to show off your love for the marque!

According to a bloke down the pub watches are becoming really popular therefore being asked the time and being able to show off your timepiece is very unlikely whereas everyone LOVES jaffa cakes.

You would be the envy of the bowling club! Imagine bringing those out on the hostess trolley!

Then there could be mini-jaffa cakes, your kids will never want to swap food again in school!

Schnozz, you are a genius, wish I'd thought of that.

Im cant rememeber where it came from, it was a birthday presant, although I did give family the phone number of the company who sold it.

There are a fair few places online that sell the watch. Find one (easy enough) explain the situation (none available) and ask for the numbers any other merchandisers who might sell them.

4-5 phone calls later, and you have yourself a shortlist.

(not sure who moved this thread from general gassing into TVR... I posted in general, as many of the buyers for the watch would likely be people who dont have/cant yet afford/ TVR.

Praps the admin sensed that TVR watches are not for the faint hearted, and put the thread amongst seasoned TVR veterans

Just had notification from TVR Personal Possesions that they are out of stock (ordered 16th Sep) until their suppliers next batch in the first week of December

Aparently their supplier had a phantom stock figure which caused some confusion.
