Pete, what do you think of the M5?
Superb handling, bombproof engine but it needs to be 'on song' Saab did feel faster to be honest but was a nightmare without LSD, maybe it's deceptive and admittedly once the inlet manifold does it's business at around 3500/4000rpm it fairly hurtles off. Feels like new even now, sounds great, lovely interior, people seem to move over readily which surprises me. Everything shuts with precision, gearchange and clutch is wonderful, brakes are very good. I'd like a newer one, it's a bit of a nutter

No, not this time mate. We've had the old girl for 4 years now and had loads of fun, now I'm working over weekends it only seems to get used for Tesco trips and 12 miles a day for Mrs A to get to work. I need something more ecoconomical (I'm doing 76 miles a day)so the bimmer will be our 'fun' car for a while, I'll buy something oily and boring, we'll go on a long deserved holiday, pay off a coupla cards and then give Mr Agger a call next summer. Future possibilities include a new 'Stang, 2/3 year old 'Vette, older M3 cab and anything else that comes to mind

You going for the latest model Phil?
I've had two of the previous models, a GT and a Cobra.
They are a lot of fun...
yep, and swaying further and further to gunmetal grey with white stripe, although black is tempting too, as is the lovely blue with white stripe...
I am going to try and fly over to new york for a test drive one weekend.
