Ap caliper bleed screw sheared off...
Discussion
A bleed screw on my Tuscan brake caliper has sheared off.
I have tried an easy out with no success as its so tight in there wd 40 and loads of heat didnt budge it, I then tried one of the easy out type drill bits however the bleed screw is so soft it's just eaten away at it leaving about 2mm or so before I hit the actual thread itself. So I'm now scared what to do next as obviously don't want to damage the thread.
So what next? The car will be getting serviced in a couple of weeks so could ask them to do it but I'd rather do it myself.
Any ideas?

They can be replaced, but have to be sent away.
Happens on our race Tuscans.
They drill them out completely and replace with a bigger stronger one.
Can't do the old nipples as they never seal afterwards. The mating edges always get damaged.
Ask Col at www.tvrssw.com he's replaced all of mine.
Daren't have anything that might fail at the track so they are all done.
cheers

Haha got the b
d out!
Plenty of wd40 then some heat and then lightly tapping a torx socket in there got it out
. Feels good when you DIY
So what bleed nipples do I need?
It appears its the cp3720-173 m10 1mmx 30mm for what I think is the cp5200 caliper
Oh and does anyone know what the rear bleed nipples are? Searching for cosworth rear bleed screw brings up nothing.
Might as well replace the lot tbh.
