Before I revert to making a new one, does anyone sell an updated part.

Got the original one and its looking far too flimsy I think an LS will rip it apart.

Saw that someone was making a batch sometime ago but dont know if there are more out there.

Twas a Cerbera thread IIRC
Just made from slightly thicker steel.

I think most that are ripped apart had come loose already.
Make sure the bolts are tight and add threadlock maybe.

The bracket is seriosuly thin compared to my gkn mount, when I took that off that was twisted as well so I imagine a standard BTR one would last about 5 mins!

Neal I'm just about to have one made up for mine could get a costing for 2 if your interested? I'm converting to btr from gkn
What's the difference in thickness?

I will send you a pic...its much thinner. My GKN one was twisted so needs to be thicker again still!

I would go much thicker :-) lets do it once only!

i made mine in 5mm plate with additonal ribs....seems to be ok so far.

The btr is a 3.08 so hopefully less wheel spin and better top end,
