I'm sorry but its getting annoying to see more and more posts going on about what people would like to see in a new TVR or what they think would be best etc.

I'm not British but when I saw the news it was like seeing my first TVR. I was ecstatic !

Who cares what will happen next? It can't be worse then wind turbines...

I know I'll be saving up just in case they get it right and judging from their cranking new website... They actually might !

So please everyone just be happy and have a beer :-)

hopefuly the owners will give some indication about timescales, to what happens next, lest silly expectations or discussion are started.

if you tease people with a brand new website, 'never say never', and 'roaring back' you should I think be wise to follow up with more information, regularly) rather than go radio silent (ie smolensky did that a few times)

just snippets to help build the excitement........

Why? Its in everybodys interest. And everyone is a potential customer. Don't get your logic?

Well, if he does it right it could be a few years before we see anything.

I do....brand loyalty

there is a core group of TVR buyers in the TVR club, and PH, and also the indies that have grown up supporting TVR cars....those groups of interested parties represent the best feedback loop possible to the new owners, and keeping them onside is absolutely key.

keeping, creating and developing that brand loyalty starts with existing owners. not new ones

Well said Jonathon!

Think we need to give the new owners some breathing space and let them develop the car(s) and business model.

It's fantastic news that the marque is back in British hands with somebody who wants to keep to the ethos of the brand.

I didn't realise you had to be a TVRCC member in order to support TVR.... I'm not a member but would consider myself an avid supporter.

I'm ignoring most of the 'should have this or that engine' stuff and will simply sit and wait for the developements.

On a side note, although I dont feel it necessary to be in the TVRCC to be a passionate TVR fan, I've tried to joint the TVRCC twice in the past using the 'on line' link but both times it seems to end in a dead end.

If you still want to join (you know you want to wink) head along to your local TVRCC meet and speak to your regional organiser they'll sort it for you. smile
