This morning I unlocked my Griff, and the alarm squealed like a pig at me - wheeeeeeeee! Odd I thought, so I locked it and unlocked it again - wheeeee!!

Now, every time I unlock it, it squeals like a pig. Just the once, but every time. Everything works, can arm the alarm, lock and unlock doors, prime the fuel pump etc.

Is my alarm knackered or is it trying to tell me something like "your backup battery's dying" or "one of the sensors is screwed" or something?

It's the Meta alarm, by the way.

Cheers,

Sy

I lost three pigs up a pipe this week. Only those who 'know' will understand why this is funny
Especially when I told the MOD we may have to cut their pipeline (which supplies fuel to the ships of the Navy) to get them out..

My Meta alarm has just started doing the same, if you disconnect the battery it will reset, in my case it has come back again. The immobiliser(seperate to the alarm) cut out the ignition 2 yrs ago, so easy to over ride until i decide what to replace it with, however i have a better system than everybody has.

Nah, tried it, didn't work. Still squeals!

Any other ideas? I think my neighbours are going to get very p1ssed off very quickly with that thing going off at 7:30am every day!

Carl is at Car and Bike Installations Ltd. email info@tvruk.tv tel. 07720723407. I sent him my meta alarm to get it overwritten and two new key fobs before my only key fob decides to die. Great service and a fast turn around.
