500 Limited Run coming to an end!
The limited run of 500 T350 and Tamora models are coming to a close. Less than 70 allocations remain before the two cars are to bow-out to their new siblings. Orders are still flying in, so if you want your hands on arguably TVR's greatest models to date, you better be quick! The price remains at £38,500 for the T350c / £40,500 for the T350t and £36,500 (Inc VAT) for the Tamora. To sweeten the deal, you will now receive Air Conditioning, 18” Wheels and Pearlesent paint FREE! That’s a saving of around £3500. TVR: the new owner's plans
TVR is in safe hands!
TVR's new owner Nikolai Smolenski, is to achieve a rapid improvement in TVR’s profitability and vision. TVR has announced plans to more than double car production to 2000 units a year. Mr.Smolenski has already introduced more quality inspectors into the assembly process. Product development is of paramount concern and will be strongly invested in.
Nikolai wants to achieve a production rate of 40 cars a week as soon as possible. He also aims to make TVR even ‘more British’.
The company is appointing 35 new dealers across Europe, and is working fast to achieve full type approval for its mainstream models so they can be sold in the US. ‘This is a volume business,’ said Mr. Smolenski. ‘The priority is to establish a stable but larger customer base before we can produce the new cars.’
As for the current TVR models, after the Tamora and T350 have reached their 500 unit limit, they'll be replaced -- each model has about 100 to go, so be quick! When the Sagaris and MKII have completed their runs, they'll be replaced by new models of Smolenski's own creation. Hints to a all new format and sequential gearbox's are in the pipeline.
A TVR enthusiast since childhood, Nikolai aims to introduce an all-new range of TVRs by 2007.

The statment seems to contradict itself.
In one breath they are saying they will only produce 500 cars of each kind and that the run of Tamoras and T350's is nearing its end but then Smolenski says ‘The priority is to establish a stable but larger customer base before we can produce the new cars.’
So am I right in thinking he will not build any new cars until his customer base has grown but he will stop building old cars?
How is this possible?
He then goes on to say "this is a volume business".

Nah.. rear spoiler is too small
Why not lose the air con and 18" wheels on the Tamora (it rides better on the 16")
Instead, offer the first inevitable rebuild and a lifetime supply of valve guides free under good will again. Rather have that than some bolt ons.
Now the Cerb is being discontinued I won't be getting in to a 'new' TVR until there is a radical re-think of power plant. As for used Cerbies, another matter
