Jeez what a night.... just got the RL7s on the car and as I back out can see liquid coming from under the car....smell petrol - Jesus time to decamp....
fuel leaking (pissing out)from under the drivers door....
think it is the fuel line as it comes up the back of the engine as I could see a small damp bit on the pipe which came back if I wiped it dry...
I turned the ign on to just prime the pump and looked again and the pipe was wet thru....lucky escape methinks....

The pipe looks to be fastened to the top of the chassis - anyone know how big a job it is to replace the hose?

Not too difficult as there's quite a bit of room above the bell housing.

Nice wheels, I've got Cerbera 5 stud RL7s on mine, suits Chims/Griffs perfectly in my opinion.

Relatively straight forward but fiddly. Do not use the car, there are two pipes a flow and a return that will both need changing. The return pipe is on the drivers side, the flow comes up the passenger side. Both pipes are solid under the chassis and are flexible from the bellhousing to the fuel rails. If you have big hands your going to struggle! Enjoy

I will have a look at the hoses tomorrow when I calm down....

the leak was on the drivers side so I think that is the one that has failed but I will change all of them for safety...the ones at the back too I think

Can't help with the fuel hose but I must say the car looks fantastic!
Glad you spotted the leak before to much damage was done!
