Hi,

I've been toying with the idea of rejoining the fold and getting another Tuscan...

Whilst idly browsing around I found this..

Anyone know the owner or the car? Haven't got in touch with the seller yet and it's a million miles away so thought I'd ask here before I speak with them and arrange a trip to take a look.

Have a search on here for TVR Glen or TVR Dean. They deal in salvage TVRs.

Plenty of posts about the seller and none in his favour.
Buys some of his stock from car salvage auction sites like HBC or Copart and usually trys to sell on about £2000 higher.
Phone the guy up and ask plenty of questions about the car, and i think you will soon have your own opinion.
He tends to be very vague with his answers, thats if he can be bothered at all!
Keep us posted if you do manage to speak to him.

Based on these comments and a couple of PMs I have received I think I will give it a miss and stop scraping the barrel!

Please excuse several future "do you know this car" threads whilst I shop around!

Nothing wrong with making a profit. But as other have said they are difficult to deal with if you want to do any negotiation, but just for balance, I bought a Tuscan door trim from them, it arrived bent, I phoned and they sent another with no question whatsoever.

It's definitely worth asking though - I have dealt with them and he was an obnoxious pr*ck.. Sent me the wrong parts then refused to take them back. Fortunately they were just "spares" rather than something I needed..

I wouldn't buy a washer off them let alone a car...

Not cheap for a Cat C either - no mention of repair certificate either. As above, keep looking.

I was actually interested in this car BEFORE it was rebuilt, I planned to do a few things to it. I spoke to him on a couple of occasions and he was a rude obnoxious tw*t and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him by even asking about the car.

Bought a Chimaera instead.
