There is a thread about this company they deal in a lot of Cat D/C but not law in Holland to declare this i think.

Cat D does make a significant diff to value so if repaired properly not sure too good to be true?

I went to Einhoven just a couple of days ago to check out the two T350 Target Cars B.V. has in stock at the moment. Seems like they sit at Target for over half a year ago or maybe longer.

The red targa was indeed involved in a crash and was "restored" to some extent. That is what the guy at Target told me right away. But if you look closely some things just don't fit very good or sit right anymore. Plus there was/is water intrusion into the passengers side of the trunk. Maybe therefore all the carbon steel / low alloy steel components like levers and screws are rusted insode the cabin. Passenger door couldn't be opened due to some electronic gremlins.
I didn't drive the car or heard the engine since they only start the car if you seriously consider to buy so no info here.

The only document they have for the car is the v5c. No history whatsoever, hence the low price. So even the mileage could be wrong if they fitted a new odometer.
So in my opinion: you have to invest big time to get something that resembles a proper T350.

OP - if you're looking at a S6 car please, please do not buy bottom of the barrel. Bear in mind a decent Tuscan will set you back 18-20k for an early car with rebuild. A decent T350 around early to mid 20s.
Have you looked at Tamoras? An 02-03 in decent nick can be had for your budget.

Buy well and they're a lot of car for the money, buy poorly and they WILL bankrupt you...

Dont worry, well aware of that... most of the stuff I'm likely to go and take a look at is well into the 20's...

Bargains do exist though, it's just a "right place, right time" thing.

Roberto , can you share some pics of the car ? how did you find them to deal with ? where you allowed look at their stock at your leisure ? assume a hpi report will help in working out if the mileage could be genuine .The fact that they have some damaged repaired vauxhall vx's just like tvr dean would suggest they do business with them.

We were at their place from 1pm to 5:30pm. Only two other german customers were there at the same time looking at the sagaris in particular.
The guys at Target Cars were really great chaps. One of them took his time explaining the cars, chatted with us about various things, about TVR and stuff (for the whole time of our stay!).
He was was no real expert for any type of their cars, but knowledgeable enough for what i expected of this kind of car dealer. At least he was honest with the (lack of) history of the cars and the repairs on the red targa as far as he could tell. As far as he was concerned all of the TVR on the market are potential salvages from crashes anyway. ;-)
Thing is, even with an HPI check you can get a former heavily damaged car if the crash wasn't reported to the insurance company. So, some truth in there.
They buy from various sources like ebay btw, oftentimes without seeing the cars first, so there are a few bad ones among them, others should be ok. But you have to know your stuff to sort out the bad apples from the good ones. They do nothing to the cars other than checking batteries, oil and other liquids before they sell them. No real repairs are done by them, though.

The factory building they use for their showroom was kind of separated in three parts:
- cars like the caterhams, rush and the like stood upfront with some lotus esprit, the porsche replica and other vintage cars.
- most of the TVRs and some beemers and more ordinary cars stood in the back
- the third area, where the sagaris sat, was locked up. some astons, porsches and rolls were in that area too.

So we could roam around areas 1 and 2 and had to ask to get to the gems in the third area. All the cars are locked up btw. The T350 and the Sagaris needed juice from a starter battery to open the doors.
