Counting down to next weekends trip down to Spain.
Just got to get over the Delhi belly or in this case Hyderabad hydraulics, fly back to the UK, get the Tuscan serviced, pack the bags, hair cut and the other stuff and it will be time go.
Cant wait.
Wife is having the Tusc detailed for me today so should be shiney and new looking and ready to go.

Taking the east of Paris Autoroute and then the east coast of Spain this year but will still be making a few overnight stops.

Watch out for the boys in green on the east coast - favourite trick is a 'broken down' Focus or suchlike with hazards on but no warning triangle out. He'll radra you and his chum will book you at the next tollbooth a couple of Kms away.

Saw this a lot on the TVR trip a few years ago - especially between Barcelona and Valencia

If you are going from France - try the Bielsa Tunnel or do the Aran Valley up to Vielha - the road into Spain from the Vielha tunnel is awesome!

Hi Tony - would be great if you could let me know how you get on with the France leg of your trip...a bunch of us are going Le Touquet - Le Mont Dore on a Saturday in Mid-September as a precursor to Millau, Carcassonne and then onto the Pyrenees.

I dont normally exceed limits but will be on my guard.

Crossed near Perpignan a couple of years ago and nothing very special but we have a hotel booked in Montpellier so need to check your suggestions.
Last year crossed on the west coast side.

Slight hickup this week. My Wife arranged to have my Tuscan detailed and unfortunately the stitching of the rear screen has failed and so I've had to find someone for urgent repairs.

Your doing good even if it is just her arranging the detailer. Around my place I am the detailer, and the one with the needle and thread.

I have just returned from a week in the Salamanca area (Spain) with my Tuscan, I cheated and used the Santander ferry.....I was amazed by the incredibly positive response of the locals.Countless people wanted photos ,and I've lost count of the thumbs ups,and 'that is beautiful' from other drivers at traffic lights,one guy almost crashed into the back of the car in front while trying to work out what the car was....One chap reckoned he had never seen a TVR in Spain before although he knew of the marque,I'm truly going to miss the star treatment back home,I may need to emigrate!

You go for it, it's all in the planning & preparation before you go.

If you get all that right as soon as the trip starts you can just relax, let it happen, & enjoy enjoy enjoy.

Yep, preparation takes most of the strain away.
I'm luck to have tons of hotel points every year so stay free as we take our time travelling down
Used Bilbao and Santander before but my Wife is prone to sea sickness, so we have to 'suffer' and drive all the way
