Home modded Rover heads with stage 4 valves (flows 172cfm @0.45-0.5")
home made 4-1 exhaust manifold with 41.5mm primary pipe
home made 2x2.45" exhaust pipe with 4 mufflers.
48mm ITB made by Jenvey
Eales steel flywheel weight approx 7Kg
Forged pistons + manley H-beam rods.
Megasquirt 3X with semisequential fuel + 8x ignition coils.
Camshaft RS M238 (next winter i fit M256 camshaft)
Harland sharp roller rockers (next winter i fit chevy rockers slightly agressive ratio)
STD RRC/SD1 timing cover (next winter i fit serpentine front cover)
Dynoded flywheel 394hp/553Nm (wheels 350hp)

They seem to offer a mix of their own cylinder heads and Wildcats on their RV8's but would be interesting to see some dyno figures of their own heads on a naturally aspiratated 5+ litre powerplant.

Eales measure his 5.2litre engine with those new TA-Performance heads approx 460hp, Same engine with same specs give 426hp his CNC heads..
I wont bother to spend approx 3000£ to get extra 30hp..

Did you ever look at reworking some Buick 300 ali heads?
Dan Jones in the US did some work on these as you can read here:

(and exhaust but I don't think mine is really imposing any big restrictions on power). I'd be very interested to know at what rpm's you're getting peak power and torque??Seems the bigger numbers are coming from the non rover heads???

I think extra 200cc will mean more torque than bhp.. Long stroke etc.. What cam you are running? And what rpm?
My peak power is ~5560rpm and torque peak is ~3600rpm.
+ My roller rockers are from 1.55ratio.. I think 1.6-1.7 will give more boost..
This dynograph is from year 2011, it has got 381hp@5600rpm and 540Nm@3900rpm of torque. It will run MSD dizzy, haltech F10 (batch fire) and 10.8CR.

Cam is a bespoke jobbie, somewhere between a stealth and an H404, peak power is at 6025rpm and torque at 4664.... I can't upload piccies with the work server I'm using or I'd post the last dyno. That said, I posted it some time back I'll see if I can find the link...

I got a chevy Ls rocker at 1.7 if you want to play with it?It can't be hard to make fit if I'm honest
New set $200 plus bearing upgrade $120 good for 7500rpm they just don't break
Last time i spoke to john eales they had issues with the porting on the ta heads and the last engine wasnt making the expected power like the first engine they built. So theyvr gone back to the drawing board, but the target was well over 400 with a 5.2
Certainly possible to gey 400+ from a rover these days, but around 15k plug and play

Got a body off coming this winter, chassis and suspension refurb, probably Nitrons, all that added to this years 16" fronts, big brake kit, Mk3 headlight conversion and front end respray. Unfortunately I've wasted the rest of my savings on beer and women
