It always makes me smile when I look in the rear view and see people in the car behind reading the boot badge but still clearly not really knowing who makes the car as there is no “TVR” name badge on the rear. On my old Wedge and Chim I added a TVR bonnet badge to the rear as it didn’t look out of place – I thought about doing the same on the Tuscan and have a spare badge but wherever I thought to place it, it just didn’t look right, so I didn’t bother.

This made me wonder how many indications there are that it is a TVR if I wandered round the outside and also had a gander through the drivers side window (I know I need to get out more!) – I could not believe it when I found a total of….27!!! They are as follows:

Wheels/ Brakes – 4 on each – 1 on the spider spoke, 1 on the centre cap, one on the dust cap and 1 on the brake caliper (on the rear I have yellow TVR stickers on the back of the pad that show through the gap in the caliper)

Windscreen – 1

Tax Disc – 1

Side window – 1 on each

Quarterlight glass – 1 on each plus 1 union jack TVR badge stuck on each

Bonnet – 1

Looking through drivers side window – 1 on horn and 1 on rear of tax disc holder

At least it won’t ever slip my mind who made the car!
