Cerb Vehicle Inspection
Discussion
Guys,
I am seriously looking to buy my first Cerb. It is located in London (just enquired as to the location) I have been trying to get in touch with Rob Ingleby but unsuccessfully. Does anyone know his whereabouts or situation? Failing this does anyone have any suggestions regarding a pre-purchase inspection.
Thanks in advance

Contact one of the nearest tvr specialists and see if they will do inspections for you. Most of the ones I know will, but you might need to negotiate how it is done as some will not do mobile ones.
Also, find out the details of the garage that last serviced it and chat to them. That will also help.

I know a few people buying Cerbs currently and a few have been to look at less than acceptable examples.
Enjoy the thrill of buying your Cerb.
If you like what you see,
bring it to Fernhurst, Racing Green, Str8six etc.
to make an inspection.
If the seller is honest he will support it, but you will have to pay.
It is worth it.
But make an appointment with the workshops, as it takes its time and they are all very busy.
I learned, if a car is not nice and tidy in the cabin, usually the rest is disappointing as well.
Have fun and good luck!

Guys
Again great information from everyone and very much appreciated - thank you. I have dropped Rob another line and hope he picks it up and reply's soon. Getting great guidance out here in the North Sea from my mentor and TVR guru - Chillie Man. Great forum and hope everything comes together so that I can (officially
) join the TVR "Band of Brothers"
Looking forward to it with great anticipation albeit nervous of very possibly loosing the remainder of my points - damn! just remembered - got none to loose
