RE: Podie's TVR TBA..

venturi an awesome and rare choice. Problem is, little too rare. Seen very few for sale....
Marcos not my cup of tea but a fine car with the right soundtrack.
TVR tba - never heard of that model but you cannot go wrong with that marque
personally, I'd also throw into the mix a Ginetta G33.

hubbaBeen out in minimax's Ginetta G33 and a cool car it is, but at all practical it is not. 10 min or so to put the roof/windows up and on, muchos leaking. Although I know he is looking at trying to get hold of a hard top.
I personally would go with a Marcos. I really like the styling, although it's not to everybody's taste. A Mantara or a Mantis. :colud9: mmmmmmmm....

yeah, I have heard that. Whilst the Chim is a practical car as far as sports cars go, the fact it only gets used on dry days anyway means I dont mind swapping it for something more impractical. Quite fancied the yellow Tuscan racer road car and that had no roof at all

Venturi was different… pretty nippy… but extreme rarity does give me cause for concern…
Tried the Esprit as well (closest thing to the Venturi actually)… but then decided I really wanted a soft top… the Elise was fun, but couldn't live with it every day. Taken a VX220 out as well, but again, just not my cup of tea.
TVR "TBA" was because I've look at pretty much everything in price range…
Quite like the Marcos though…
Ginetta... hmm...

) you'll also notice that I've been looking at Marcoses (Marcii?) and even a Venturi… as well as a few TVR's...
