Great stuff, Savour the moment of your first drive as you will not stop smiling, and don't worry about the fuel gauge as they all drop quickly when you first get one. It slows down the longer you own it .

I don't know if how many Chims are going, but there is a convoy of S's going from Norfolk (links on the S forum) and you are welcome to tag along with us for a run out ( just don't say you are with us if anyone asks...its a Chim thing)

I've come so close to doing the extra car thing, but have always ended up getting distracted by a better daily driver instead and just throwing all of the money into that, only to feel jealous every time I saw a TVR! I've got three V8s now, so I'm spoilt for choice!

I didn't pay that for it and I too hope that it's pristine and wants for nothing! It's ok, because We Buy Any Car have offered £4800 for it if I don't like it!

No, private sale straight from the owner. His friend owns the dealership and was just advertising it on his behalf. I only dealt with the owner.

Enjoy it Stuart. I am enjoying mine - I even turned up at a client meeting in it today, something I didnt do with my other Chimaera as it is fairly noisy...

I think I even managed a couple of seconds of full throttle today as well!

Just take it easy as its easy to get carried away - they do have a habit of biting.

Cheers Graham. Ed told me that the exhaust is standard and I may well leave it that way. Even a quiet TVR is a lot noisier than most cars these days!

Agreed. The first lively junction pull away in the dry was like a greasy wet road in the 400....

Will do. I believe that the lack of power steering on my car makes things a little bit trickier to correct quickly too, but I'll have to see how it feels. I may get it retro fitted, or I might live with it, or even prefer it.

Excellent choice with the cerbera's seats. Way more bolstered than the standard seats, means you won't slip out of them around corners.
