Safe to decat and drive pre mapping?
Discussion
Ok guys, I have a modded rv8 with aftermarket ecu. It has an mot map, a catted base map that feels close to final map and I am off to rolling road for mapping on Monday. I want the car mapped with the decatted pipes fitted. Is it safe for me to decat it and drive it on the catted map before it goes on the rolling road.
Cheers

Thanks guys, down pipes coming off as we speak! Having real trouble with the bolts so will start another thread!
It's dta s60 pro, I am not sure if it is switchable yet but I think it is! That said backed up maps are easily installed so it will be switched annually for mot with the cat pipes. Dta have recccomended I use troy at Northampton Motorsport. It's booked in for Monday and will post up how I get on.
