more bad news

Got a call from my dealer today regarding if the warrenty company will pay for the cost of the rebuild on my speed 6 cerb due to worn out cam followers, the answer was no.Was half expecting it really. the dealer did say that I should phone them up and see if I can get them to pay for part of it, has anyone else done this and was it succesfull and what did you say, any help and advice would be welcome.
