Bit of an off

What a night. Took the Chim out for a drive tonight, popped into a local watering hole for a drink and left shortly after. Had just turned up a slip road when it span sending me off the road, down a 15ft ish drop and came to a rest in a ditch

Big thanks goes to Castleton who managed to haul it out and it seems to be in one piece bar a broken wingmirror and indicator! Both myself and my lady passenger escaped without any injury.

Please be careful folks, I dont want this to happen to anyone else

Too right it has, mind you I didnt really have a chance to think about what was happening! I ache this morning but the insurance is already in full swing and the car goes off to the bodyshop today...handily I know them so they'll do a good job!

Traction control may have been good...but that just takes all the fun away from it! Besides, it all happened far too quickly.

Its just testiment to the build quality of these machines.

Probably...but you'd be reading about this on the Porsche forum.... and he'd be telling us how he went to the hairdressers for a perm and on the way home he had a big fright when his Boxsters traction control light flashed.

So it would appear to have been a typical egotistical and arrogant response to possibly being traded in for a more satisfying (and younger?) model!

have to agree with cosmochick. Mine is definitely a "He", as there's nothing he likes more than a babe riding on his seat asking questions about the gear stick and braking distances.
