Which one and why?

Coming from a Cerbera driver (albeit a speed six)

I think the T cars would hold that sort of money better, and I'd like the roof to come off if it was my only fun car.

As someone who's had both, as an investment I'd say a Tuscan. But as a car to keep, love, cherish and never ever sell, it would be the Cerbera.

I've had both, and there is very little between them I loved the Tuscan 2001 model, great styling, roof of back window out was a great way to travel on a dry day and with Carbon Cans the sound is epic. One big drawback for me was getting the bonnet off. It was a 2 man job and was a hassle but you can get that sorted now as a few owners have done.

The Cerbera ( I have a 2003 Speed Six ) feels better put together and the cabin is a better place to be, the ride is more composed and I probably just prefer it to the Tuscan but I do miss getting the roof off on a hot day and would be happy with either but the Cerb just has that little bit extra for me.

£25k will get you a good Cerbera but good ones are thin on the ground, owners of good ones tend to hold onto them and spend what is required to keep them good but they do come up just be quick to move when you see one.

Tuscan prices seem to be going up especially the S, £25k will get you a Mk1 but probably not a MK11. If I was looking for a Tuscan I would be searching for one with a 4.3 rebuilt engine I don't know if you would get a 4.5 for that money but that's would be where my money was going rather than a "S" spec model.

Ive had both and prefered the Cerb, it handled better, and the sound from the V8 is awesome. Id definately have another.

My answer to part two of your question why the cerb?

I prefer the longer wheel base handling, I love the interior more than the Tuscans and prefer the fully analog dash feels more classic British. And i like the torque of the v8 lower down, In between a RV8 and the Sp6 for me does what both do fairly well and more unique and rarer.

The tuscans sheer looks how ever are awesome the best looking car ever made in my eyes The cerb is a bit less loud looking and more classic.

I love both on a nice day with the roof off the Tuscan is king though and sound s epic with De cats and ccc cans
