Increasing the price of cars that haven't sold....
Discussion
We all know the Green Sag that has been for sale for ages increases in price every few months, but I've noticed some of the other sags that have been for sale for a few weeks have also had their advertised price increased.
Does this sales tactic work? I would have thought that if a dealer hadn't sold a car for some time a price decrease might be in order, not the other way round. I know prices of TVR's are on the up, but a couple of grand in a month or so seems optimistic.

When you do not need the Money, why not trying other way round!
I have done it also in former times(Increasing, a dentist has bought my Porsche 6 years ago), when a car is too cheap they think something is wrong, when a car is too expensive they think(hope) it must be good car.
Ist also a thing of colour, how to present the car and to find the right buyer, 5000 more or less
in this values are only 10% up or down.
If the buyer has 55000, he also has 60000.
And a lot of Saggi owners are speculating, price has gone up too fast in last 4-5 years.
I would not buy a sag for even 40.000, driving difference between Sag,T350 and Tuscan is too small.
All T-cars can kill you and are most pleasant to drive,
I bought a Tuscan 2s for less than half of a normal Sag price and are happy with my 2005 Mk2.
But its good for us all, if Sag climbs the other cars will follow.(I hope so)

Depends if the market will stand it.
Area variations are also inevitable.
If I have 2 Sags available and someone sllls a similar car for £60K...
...mine are worth £60K. Or atleast they should be.
TVRs are to cheap for what they are anyway and the sooner those who own them realise it the better for everyone.

I imagine that Sag owners will be looking to capitalise as the market price is boyant in lieu of no current TVR models, when that changes in a year or two, logically the values will fall on the release of the new model - very much depending what the new model is like of course!
No, Sag prices will continue to go up, look at m3 CSL and 360 cs prices, they don't go down when a new model comes along,The only other road cars I have driven that get close to the rawness and driving experience of a Sag are a 996 gt3 rs and Ferrari CS, and look at the prices of them.
