BBC Report says that sunlight reflected from the new skyscraper melted the plastic parts on a Jaguar. Surely a TVR would stand a chance.

i don't think it's to do with the concave. i think it the way the glass is made,it's like mirror afect. transffering the heat. like a magnifying glass.

Surely being concave contributes to this - at least because it means the light going to be shone downwards more acutely. If its just the glass then why arent other buildings creating this problem?

Or a combination of both, hence why we don't see the effect on other buildings?
