How many cars are in Blackpool ?

I was wondering....... (a big mistake).

How many cars are there at the TVR factory in Blackpool awaiting some engine repairs. My guess is a very large number, has anyone seen the carpark where all these are held? Is it under cover or are all the cars slowly filling with rain water as well?

If you are waiting for your car back, how long have you waited and when do you expect to get it?

Enough questions, just would like to get a handle on the situation.

Are you perchance wondering how close to the front OR how far from the back of the queue your is?

The cars are driven into the main (dealership) workshop the engines are taken out and moved to the "engine build workshop" then the cars are pushed outside infront of the main workshop again where they will stand uncovered in all weathers until it`s time to refit your engine anything up to 6 to 9 weeks i`m afraid

I've had the dreaded dealer's call this afternoon. Finger followers failed. 8 weeks they reckon. So you can add another to the car park. Will be continuing to shell out the loan payments whilst I sweep an empty garage. Still, it's better to receive the call on 25th Oct than 25th April?

Thanks for the info guys; I was trying to be a bit more scientific. I know it's allegedly 8 weeks 'cos that was what I was told. Mind you I know someone who was told that back in Aug.

None the less we can but wait……..
