Just had my birthday present yesterday, few laps in a Lamboghini Diablo, gotta say from a speed point of view, the griff seems much faster up to 100mph. There was almost certainly some kind of noise silencer (goodwood) but will it make that much difference to performance? I remember planting my foot right down in 2nd gear thinking is that it??! It sure did corner well though, gotta admit that much.
Today had the experience of a test ride in a T350 from dream machines, truly an awesome and great handling car, i want one.

In its day the Griff was faster 0-60 and 0-100 than anything else barring exotica (F1, XJ220) etc. as I recall, so its no surprise it gave you more grins per mile than a Diablo.

Mind you I'd love to have a play with a Diablo still
