I think I must have one of the rare ones!! Can't find a cam belt on my Griff no matter how hard I look!!!

Sorry but the articles credibilty has just gone straight down the toilet, how can a publication with the reputation of Car make such fundamental error, how long has the Rover V8 been around? Has it ever had a cam-belt? Of course not

They have the sag under that section
The writer must be a fan as he is very
Supportive of it and love the( howl / pops and bangs on over run )

Well, I bought the magazine for the TVR article and shouldn't have bothered. Decent photography and it's always nice to see some TVR publicity, but woefully inaccurate as usual, and quite frankly pathetic as a buying guide for any of the four models.

Just got Novembers Octane (Collector edition no less!) - front page is TVR ICONS. Haven't read it yet so cant comment on the article but keep an eye out for it if interested.

Agree, admittedly I've only read the Cerbera part so far but it's really annoyed me.

"Buy as late a car as you can afford" - OK, so I appreciate that the build quality and warranty claims could have improved with time and experience, but does that mean that all owners of older cars have just left their cars with the "electrical, chassis, engine, blah blah blah...." issues unresolved? What a load of tosh.

If you are thinking of buying a TVR, come here, speak to people with real knowledge and experience rather than taking the words of Mr Chris Chilton (author) with his woeful inaccuracies and spelling mistakes for granted!

Great pics though, and I spotted a PH smiley on the Cerbs rump!

Last person I know who kept on saying buy one as late as possible bought a garage queen and ended up with a blown engine and knackered starter.

Must be a hard job for the editor getting articles but good old fashioned proof reading and a second set of eyes before going to press would be an advantage.

Makes wonder if all their articles are equally as crap but you just don't have the detailed knowledge to realise it.
