The ignition amp on my 95 Griff as given up the ghost and died , I have seen an uprated replacement available from RPI (V8 developments?), the web site makes it sound great . Is it to good to be true can it result in bigger fatter spark and cleaner smoother running ? or is the std piggy back module just as good ? Does anyone use one or have exprience of these A&R ignition amps?
Any advice would be most welcome Cheers

I've been considering getting one to improve the spark strength on mine. Apparently they don't clip the dwell angle like the standard unit does resulting in a longer charge time. Haven't tried them but the theory seems credible and they are being recommended by people who know far more than I do about engines.

Well I'm going to find out, quite by chance I found one on ebay, with minutes left on the auction. I have bought it for £40 , which seems like a bargin (if it works),it is second hand but complete with orginal paper work re performence and fitting. It is being despatched by courier as I type this so I should have it tomorrow, I'll report on the results over the weekend.
