Interesting article incoming in sprint. If anyone out there subscribes, it would be good to get a synopsis for those of us lesser mortals smile

I've tried to join thrice on line but theres been a problem each time.
Thought I might be able to join in Blackpool the other week but I didnt get up to Blackpool until about 6:00pm Saturday and when I got to the DeVere Sunday morning everyone had left there too.
Dissapointing weekend apart from seeing 1 Tuscan, 1 Sag and 1 T350 in the Hilton car park.

Thanks Alison.
To be honest, I once heard that I wouldn't be too welcome if I wasn't going to attend meets and so have ummd and ard about it for years.
I've been driving TVR's for about 17 years now but have been constantly travelling all that time.

I've managed to make two TVR North America 'Woodwork' annual meets in the last 4 years and failed at this years Back to Blackpool as I didnt land in Manchester until 8:30am on the Saturday.
If your planning any meets in India I will also have a chance.

I'm realy looking forward to Sprint so that I can at least have some active connection.

Thanks,
Tony.

Don't know who told you that, but certainly in the Berks region myself and Phil to to make newcomers and existing members as welcome and part of "the family" as possible. Enjoy your first year in the TVRCC you'll make plenty of new friends smile

We welcome all. Some attend every meeting, more attend some and some never comesmile

We're a disparate bunch really and one size does not fit all smile

Tony.
Ignore the rumor mill. I've been a club member for slightly longer than I've been a TVR owner (over 10 years for the later) and have yet to go to a meet!

IMHO, the mag alone is worth the membership fee.

What's the synopsis....?
Presume as it's in the owners mag then it's along the lines of , I love tvr heritage, it's customers, it's potential, the design, the simplicity, the lack of obtrusive driver aids etc... It needs to move on as times have changed etc...playing it quiet on firm plans (as tbh they won't actually be cars in the cheap as chips bracket anymore....)

+1 Although never having attended myself but I know a couple of people who travel from the Sussex region and feel very welcome and they even welcome non tvr members (Kev and his Lambo).
