I believe this is the master cylinder used by by TVR on the 'modern' cars. I have just tried to buy one from an ebay supplier who now says they are obsolete and cannot supply = is this true??

Power Torque might still have a few servo and m/cyl in stock. I think they may be the source for Multipart to supply official TVR spares. But once their stock is exhuasted, maybe it is unfortunately a case of when they are gone, they are gone??? www.powertorque.co.uk Ask for a guy called "Salv".

Eurocarparts list it as "available to order"

Brakes International lot cheaper, "email for availability"

ETA Not looking too good, reply from Brakes Int.

"HI Mike

I am sorry there is no availability on this part --- Lucas the oe manufacturer don’t have any stock with no due date

Regards Steve"

Sadly it looks like the newer TVRs are going the same way as the S, Griff, Chim in that the m/c is no longer available. Unusual considering the Ka was in production til 08

Hi!.
Ive trudged down the same path as you last year and managed to source 2 x new KA servos which I've kept for a rainy day.
My servo on my 1997 Chimeara failed and replaced at horrendous cost. The only one I could get hold of close to what I needed was the KA unit.

There is one significant difference though which may or may not apply to your car.
The KA version,s pushrod inside the servo is approx. 20mm in from the seal face, whereas my original faulty unit is almost flush.
I will need to extend/modify the pushrod length to use the KA unit in the future or add the master cylinder for it as well.

That said I only need one as a spare so would you like to make me a reasonable/sensible offer for one I have. Bearing in mind I know the ridiculous prices which have been quoted for them. If you need photos of it please post me a e-mail

I got one too just in case. The original is still good after 11 years so I might never need it.
