I looked into this but ended up repairing my existing original Citroen CX mirrors.

The Corrado mirror mounting blocks were made by TVR for the Griffith SE, the supplies of these apparently dried up almost immediately the SE Griff production ceased.

They are however being remade in small numbers (probably only to order), there seems to be three sources:

1) TVR Power - (not sure where they source them from, but I doubt they make them)

2) David Hillis AKA "Plasticman" - (http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?memberId=24517 - he was the first to re-manufacture them I believe?)

3) Fibreon - (http://www.fibreon.co.uk/products/part/107 - probably made to order like the ones from Platicman so you'll need to call for a price)

Just be aware buying the blocks is only the start, obviously you need some decent used Corrado mirrors so you'll also need to have them painted.

Then there's getting the motors to work with the TVR wiring, don't underestimate this as it's not as simple as it sounds, the easiest way to solve the problem is to buy two Cerbera mirror ECUs.

Before committing to the Corrado mirror conversion I did some fag packet costings that came out like this:

1) Mounting blocks x 2 - £90.00

2) Used Corrado mirrors x 2 - £50.00

3) Mirror painting x 2 - £150.00

4) Two new mirror glasses (because all old Corrado mirrors de-silver over time) - £30.00

5) Cerbera mirror ECU x 2 - £80.00 (if you're lucky)

So in the end you're looking at £400.00 to complete the project, not cheap is it!

That's part of the reason I fixed my originals.

I admit the CX mirrors certainly aren't very robust (understatement), but they are at least original and cheap to fix, I feel mine are now stronger & more durable than the day they left Bristol Avenue and better still they cost me next to nothing to repair.

At the end of the day it's horses for courses, but in my opinion the original mirrors give perfectly acceptable rearward viability when carefully fitted & adjusted.

If you're replacing the originals because they're broken I can offer some simple effective tips on repairing them, mine seemed beyond rescue at first, but I now consider them stronger than they ever were and should last for years to come.

They also function perfectly & are totally original looking wink

Let me know if you want to see some photos of my repair methods.
