It was sold to the first guy that rang me about it... and after working around paintshops, trips abroad and wotnot, I eventually waved it off down the road on Monday evening.

It has gone to a guy called Martin and his son Phil, from West Yorks, not so far from Chim Girl, so hopefully they'll find their way into the crowd of usual suspects.

I'd like to still see the car around and just hope to God that it looks after them and gives them as little trouble and as much fun as it has me over the last 18 months. After all, that car is responsible for the best experience of my life so far outside of wife & daughter, i.e. my Spanish trip last summer.

I've told them about the NYTVRCC meets and Martin knows the pub well, so fingers crossed.

oh, and;
ANDY 4200!
Many thanks for pointing Phil my way, appreciated

I'll do my best to try and get them out on a few local hoons so you can check on it's upkeep!!!

I know it was a good car and you looked after it so I could only recommend it to them as one of the good ones.

I'll try and drag them along to the next NY meet.

That would be cool. I'll try and get Vic and gabby out under the premise of a Sunday lunch!
