Went to Aston Martin for the launch of the DBR9. Took the Chimaera.

When it came to leave I couldn't get in with the keyfob, couldn't start the car.

Had to call the AA out

Turned out I'd left the lights on

Seems to cause a little amusement amongst a few of the workers there...

OK so your a newbie to the Chim, check the hand book for the location of the lights switches, failing that, put up a post on the Chim forum asking for somebody to post a picture of said switch.

Hope this helps.

Perhaps there should be some sort of testing for anyone coming from a german car?

Although to be fair, Al, the chances of the handbook that came with the car actually having the correct info is relatively slim!

Commiserations, we've all done something similar - on the Griff I managed to leave the door ajar and on the Tuscan I've already managed to leave the boot ajar, both resulting in the lights draining the battery...

Isn't the next button along from the one that turns on their hair driers?

I know what you mean Ted, flat battery is forgiveable, but turning up in golf cart is unforgiveable .

I know what you mean - that surely only applies to Griff owners - why they even have a little box on the passenger side for the Carmen heated rollers.....

I'm glad I wasn't the only one wearing a dunce cap yesterday then

Driving the car out the garage felt a lot of resistance and some strange graunching noises - it wasn't until I'd got the car out I realised I'd left the handbrake on (fixed last week so I'd not bothered with it before).
