VERY dark red P reg Chimaera - much darker than our Ruby Red. Very nice! Haven't seen it around before - local or visitor?

Sure is !!

Messerschmitt = 200cc 2 stroke .....4 gears forward / 4 gears backwards..... direct steering.....65 mph on the flat ...10 bhp ....no torque .....0-60 = ages ! ..... you have to wring its neck

TVR = brute power and the sound of the V8 - magic

Keep a look out for mine then, it'll be back on Tuesday and I plan to make up for not having it!

I know i'll look like a twat going up and down the high street but I dont care.

Should we do as the Horsham posse has done and get a lunch meet sorted out?

BTW, I too have seen the dark red Chim going past my house a few times. I hear it but can't get out of the door and up the garden in time to wave.

Edit to add, it is most probably you I see Liz!

Being an (ex) East Grinstead girl (mum and dad still live there), I have to confess that I've felt the necessity to do this a few times myself! Mind you, those speed bumps are in a league of their own

You're more than welcome to join the Haywards Heath/Horsham posse at the following meet:

Ah ha.....It probably your car or that one that I pulled up alongside at the Felbridge traffic lights then (I can't believe that there are that many in that area)....I was in a blue Chimaera. I was visiting my mum to give her her first ride in my new toy.

Was it like a sort of burgundy colour?

If so then I think the driver let me out in the old part of EG Hi Street a few months ago.

I LURV driving up the high street cos I too am a saddo with no life! But the sound of the exhaust booming off the shops...

I look forward to doing it again after Xmas when my altercation with a deer 10 days ago is rectified...

Just a thought. Was it a lady driver? There is a VERY dark red (burgundy) P reg Chimaera in Haywards Heath. A gorgeous colour

Bugger it. I would have loved to go on the 21st.

Instead i'll be going to my God-daughter's 1st jelly and ice cream .

Jim, i'm gutted for you mate, i've just seen the thread. You were in my sights for a blatt this week too!
If I can give you a bit of advice, forget all about the fact that you own a TVR whilst it's away. It's the only way i've got through 3 months without going mad. When it does finally come back the feeling will be like picking it up new again.

There's a Deep red Chimaera that lives near Felbridge. I have often used my Cerb in EG, usually just parked up outside rumours!

Isn't Rumours the one by the cinema?

Never heard of Martines... where's that? (donning school blazer and stripy cap!)

So Martines is the one by the cinema?

Being (ahem) 24 I am clearly too old for either!

Ah yes, I stand corrected indeed. Martines is the place by the cinema. I just found their web site and it looks like I will have to dig out my Burberry raincoat and bling bling jewellry to blend in.
