In the latest Sprint, the TVRCC has an advert for some Heated Seat Covers.

Anyone have any experience of them?

Would it be possible to run two off of one 12v outlet - or would that be trying to draw too much current through the cigar lighter?

Thanks,

Simon

I would imagine you could, but that is going to mean cables running from the driver's door accross your lap or under the driver's seat. Great if you forget and open the drivers door!

Why not wire them from the battery via a fusible link instead?

Make sure when you wire them in you fit a quick release connector though.

Easiest way to do this would be to fit extra cigar lighters on both sides.

Not worried about physically running both off the Drivers side. I often have my Sat Nav PDA plugged in anyway, so I am used to "being careful" when I get out the drivers side.

Anyone know the safe load on the Cigar Lighter?

Advert in Sprint also mentions a Cool Seat version for the summer ....
