Thought I'd throw this into the TVR section as you guys probably know what else I could have that's in the same mould as a tiv but cheap!
I need a car that's two wheel drive (so it goes on the rolling road) .. has the lucas 14cux hotwire management system as fitted to chims / griffs etc .. but must be cheap, preferably under a grand.

Old rover sd1s on ebay will have the old flapper air flow meters. old land rovers are 4 wheel drive (though locking a centre diff and removing the front prop could be a solution to that one .. but i don't want a big four by four if i can help it) ..

so what else is out there for no money but will get me a lucas hotwire ecu system to play around on?
cheers smile

Hasn't the old RV8 been shoved into just about every shape and type of vehicle ever biggrin Might be worth looking at unfinished projects or maybe even trikes if all you need is a RWD runner.

Would an 02 reg Freaklander be suitable? There's an MOT fail on Autotader for £350
Presumably an elderly Rangie would have the right kit and you coud deselect 4 wheel drive?
