Hi everyone

new to this site and have yet to purchase a TVR although very interested. Anyone have any recommendations/advice and does anyone know of anywhere to have a look at these babies in the essex area?

Hi Rich

The local Essex branch of the TVR CC meet the second Sunday of the month (ie next Sunday) at Great Totham.

Details are on the TVR CC web site.

Hi Rich and welcome. If you can afford to have a McDonalds in your house I would buy two.

Hello and welcome.

Get to a meet/dealer/indie, have a rummage around the cars then ask any questions you have either at the time or via PH.
There's always someone that will help you around here however unstable they may appear!!

Good Luck!

I spent about six months investigating what TVR to buy, talking to lots of experts and generally researching the subject. The general concensus was that if you're looking for a 2nd hand one (like me)then reliability is a major issue. Cars with the Rover V8 engines are generally the ones recomended for reliability. If you're in the market for a new one then most of the glitches have been removed (in theory!)
