I''m on the verge of buying a brand new Tuscan! Is it possible to negotiate the price down with the dealer or is it a case of always paying the list price?

Depends on the dealer, give a few dealers in your area a call. Where are you based.

If I was you I'd buy secondhand first. Tuscan prices are still stabilising and depending on what way it goes you may find you have quite a heavy depreciator on your hands. There was some very good deals to be had a while back so hunt around.

I'm based in South London. I've put a holding fee down on one of the "original" 4.0l Tuscans (without the spoiler) i.e. not Tuscan S. In my opinion the "original" is better looking and cheaper spec for spec than the Tuscan S. From looking at the Web sites of all the dealers up and down the country, most are displaying Tuscan S prices and they are all list price - which is what I've been offered by my dealer.

It's always been well known that the list price is fixed. However you may be able to negotiate the price of extras......
