Hi All, I currently drive a DB9 and keep getting an itch to try/hire/buy a TVR based on the looks and retro rawness of the car. I have posted over in the Aston forum: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

And was wondering if anyone knows a good source to borrow or hire a TVR, just for a day or so to try it before I possibly go ahead and buy one. If I don't like it (please don't shoot me!) then Im not committing to buying a car just for the sake of satisfying an itch, Im based in Mayfair London in case there are any TVR'rs nearby that fancy taking e for a spin/lending me/hiring me their car (Tuscan or Sagaris only as these are the two makes I most like). Happy to pay (to hire)/buy someone a lovely lunch in town for lending me one...

Thoughts and ideas welcome. Thanks in advance. Jag (not the car, the man!)

There are not a lot of people going to lend you there car for the day, but maby swap cars for a drive with your DB9.

Happy to meet someone and go for a drive in each other's cars followed by a nice pub lunch some where. Im sure all the PH'ers driving such cars are nice folk (verging on slightly mental) smile

Ah yes SouthWest was the website I saw before but couldn't find! Thanks

Drop your DB9 on my drive along with the keys and you can take my Tuscan away for the weekend.

I was very close to going from Tuscan to DB9 last year.
Pity I'm a bit far 'up north' to do a weekend swap.
Good luck.
