Looking at Hammond's ear-to-ear grin and eye's popping out I expected him to come out with 'I'm a driving god' again.

I had the pleasure of being in Byff's Cerbera on the return leg. Yes it's an experience but Byff, you need to hear it from the seat of an open top following to appreciate it fully.

I saw a Pagini Zonda in the flesh @ Cliveden Hotel (Taplow,Berkshire)on sunday lovely sounding car but wouldnt pay over £400,000 even if I had it. Very impractical car, deffinatly a sunday driving sort of car.

But if that's what you drive on a Sunday what do you drive in the Week??

McLaren and Merc really missed a trick with the SLR. It might look good (if you're into that sort of thing), but all the reviews I've seen have said that it doesn't drive anywhere near as well as its rivals.

I like the Pagani as it's clearly been designed with being driven very fast as its primary function - and the bank of 4 exhausts would make Batman jealous (and deaf)!

Loved the article in this month's Sprint with the SLR and the Sagaris; IMHO, just for sheer looks the Tiv blew the SLR away

Still, all this is mere conjecture as it will be a while (i.e. never) before I'm deciding whether to go for the Zonda or the Enzo etc...

Anyway, I love my Chim and with the money saved in buying that over the Zonda, I could buy another 25 or so...

There was one at the Autosport show last year. Not only ugly, but poorly put together, too. I wouldn't pay £400K (or whatever it is) for a car covered in exposed screw heads and pointless Max Power carbon fibre twiddly bits (even if they are real carbon fibre). Definitely an Essex bookies supercar.

What I have been wondering though is do 2nd owners get a pair of shoes from the Pope's cobbler too, or can you have the originals send back to the factory for adjustment

Must say I like it myself, much better than the elongated and overpriced SL65 and at least someone thought about the inteior rather than the drab look of the SLR

Mind you if I had a quarter of a million plus to spend it would be the Koenisegg (obviously spelt wrong!) for me....

Yikes! A car that depreciates by the cost of a brand new Vanquish in under three years. £1k a week down the p*sser. Makes running a Tiv look cheap...
