The guru is Dennis Priddle who is based in East Coker just outside Yeovil. Apart from being Mr Drag Racing he did the supercharged TVR 350 SX engines in the late 80's. I have had an SX from new and it has done nearly 80,000 miles with no supercharger niggles. Dennis is getting on a bit now but if he can't help he'll know just about everyone who can.

Dennis quoted me around £6k for a low boost system, which is remarkly cheap when you work out how much work and fabrication is involved in doing it yourself.

This Dennis must the guy who worked in conjunction with Dave Haughin, formerly of the Northern TVR Centre in Barrow-in-Furness.

As a kid I used to live in Barrow and I often hung around Haughin's place.

They did some dealer specials, putting Sprintex supercharger units into assorted 350's and a couple of 400's. You must have one of these cars then Jasper. I would love to see some photo's of it, after all these years.

Hi Charlie Alpha - yes my car is a Haughins 350SX and I've had it since new. David Haughin was a good mate as well as being my motor dealer and I was gutted when he died. I did get the reg TVR 35 5X which is nice. I've tried to find some pics to post, but the missus has filed them in a place of great safety.....

Tony,

Think of all the extra weight a super charger will add, perhaps you could loose some of it by taking off those lurvely blue neon's from under your car!

Anyway you are TVR'less at the mo so what are you doing on here!
