Given the glass equivalent is £800 odd plus vat this would be a good buy for anyone considering a project or track car

Thanks for posting that,down the bottom of the page i spotted a repair kit for the heated rear windscreen on the Chimaera,must get one of those in case mine needs repairing,hold on a sec do i have a heated rear screen ?!.....no,must have been an optional extra which wasn't ordered when the car was new.

The technical info says you connect directly to the battery,... Voila, screen melts, perfect vision :-)

I can't find it on ebay, but am guessing that it's just flat perspex. If it is you could get if for half that price by finding your local commercial vehicle windscreen shop, they'll normally have a bloke who goes around putting perspex screens in diggers/JCB type stuff. I found one who came out and cut two rear quarters and a rear screen to size for me and fitted them onto a track car cool

Looking at it I don't know why I ever thought they had a flat rear screen, must google images first in future.
